This weekend brings about the final eclipse in a series of three starting last month (June 5th to July 5th). A powerful 30 days that have hopefully revealed to you the path you wish to take and the person you wish to be on this journey of life. Change is happening right under our noses and it’s up to us to decide how we will show up in this new world. It’s time to finish the work we started early this year, reaping some of the benefits from seeds planted in cycles past. In order to receive these benefits we must keep evaluating, because this weekend asks for another round of releasing and cutting some ties that may have held on longer than intended.
Capricorn is the sign of ambition, leadership, hard work and determination. It’s time to get to work, not necessarily jump into something brand new. The new choices we’ve previously made in our home lives and careers this past month are set into place and ready for the pragmatic work that must be done to lay the solid foundation. Setting realistic goals and creating practical schedules will provide you with a manageable routine. Taking things one step at a time will create a stress free framework for actualizing your ambitious visions for the future you want.
Capricorn is an earth sign, stabilizing and supporting us as we hit the ground running and get to work. Creating a solid foundation is the key to longevity and sustainability. This year has thrown some crazy curve balls at us so that we could determine what really matters to us and what we no longer care for. Drawing these lines, and making these decisions has pointed us towards our new path; this new path, where we have spent time creating, dreaming about and envisioning the big picture/end results. Well, in order to get there, we have to put in our time and get to work! We must adapt to our new environment and start doing the practical and tangible things that will make our lofty dreams a reality. Life doesn’t just happen, we make it so.
This is a great time to evaluate your work life/home life balance. We spent so much time this year at home and now, for many, home is work and work is home. What does this look like on a daily basis? How do you separate the two when they are occurring in the same space? Another great place to set a foundation, a future with clear lines drawn between work and home, making timelines and organizing your schedule so one doesn’t over power the other.
Evaluate your relationships with the people in your life. People come into our lives for a reason. Some are in it for the long haul, growing and changing alongside us, and some are a little more temporary, here to help us learn something then, like a fairy godmother, fly away to help someone else. Are there any fairy godmother’s you’re clinging to who should be halfway to Mexico by now? If so, it may be time to cut the cord and know that new people will arrive to replace those that travel down a different road.
Whatever is going on in your life, whatever it is that you need to release or wherever you need to focus your attention and get to work, just know that you may feel these feelings exponentially more than usual. Eclipses have amplifying power, so use it. Make changes, get shit done, be the change you want to see around you. We are all frustrated with the state of the world at the moment but we have to remember we have the power to create change. Simply BE the thing or person you wish you saw more of in your society. Create the business or community space you wish you had. Just do it, don’t wait for someone else to tell you it’s ok. The only person you ever need to get approval from is YOU. And we need more of you being the unfiltered, untethered you, because genuine people create genuine systems, and genuine systems actually help and support people. We’re done hiding, it’s time to show the world what we can do and we’re not sorry about it!
